The outcome of the election for the post of Prime Minister in Israel on September 17 has not been clear. In such a situation, if the government is not formed soon, the election will be ordered once again by the President. That is, Israel is on the verge of general election for the third time in a year.

In fact, according to the situation that was clear about the Israeli elections till Thursday, according to Benny Gantz’s Blue and White 33 seats, Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud Party has 31 seats. A figure of 61 is needed to form a government in Israel, but both parties can reach the figure of 50 only with their alliances.

Apart from these, there are some small parties who have numbers that can be kingmakers in forming the government, one of these Avigdor Lieberman’s party currently has 8 seats which can decide the government’s stand.

However, both Benjamin Netanyahu and Benny Gantz have said that Unity is ready to form the government, but there is a screw up for the post of Prime Minister. Because Benny Gantz has said that he will be the next Prime Minister. On which Benjamin Netanyahu’s party is not ready.

On the current situation, President Rivlin says that he will work on the process of forming a government from Sunday, first both parties will be invited to form the government and figures will be asked. According to the President’s office, there will be 42 days to form the government, in addition to this, additional time of 28 days can be found.

But if these options are not successful, then elections can be announced once again by the President. However, the leaders of all political parties and the President himself believe that the country should not go to the elections for the third time in the same year. Therefore, efforts are on to form the government.
