Politics in battleground West Bengal is getting more intense as the date of the polls is nearing. Amid this, hitting out at Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Wednesday asked the people of Bengal to wake up on the polling day, remember their god, go to the polling centre and press the button of Lotus.

Addressing a poll rally in Bengal Joypur, Nitin Gadkari said Wake up in the morning on the day of polls. Remember your God. Go to polling centres and press the button of Lotus. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari basically asked the people of Bengal that choosing BJP would mean choosing development in the state and that this will be a big shock to the Mamata Banerjee government.
